The name of the drug is Auvelity by Axsome Pharmaceuticals and it should be available sometime this last quarter of the year. My doctor and I have been keeping an eye on it.

The bupropion/Wellbutrin part of it is only there to increase the bioavailability of the bundy, so really it's the bundy doing all the antidepressant action.

can you separate the antidepressant effects from the psychoactive? I've heard of similar studies being done on ketamine

Yeah they just did that with LSD and mice. Almost sounds too good to be true. Dose one time, get the endless serotonin release, rewiring of the brain, without actually tripping.

Yeah there are a lot of interesting studies about it. That's why ketamine, LSD, psilocybin, are all being used now in a controlled environment with supervision. The goal is to be able to have a drug that you can take FIRST, and then start therapy.

Kind of a similar concept to how an alcoholic might actually have better results with therapy by talking to their therapist while being drunk.

The problem has been solved with this respiratory sedative!

Sedate the respiratory system enough and depression becomes the least of your problems.
