I'm 95% certain my girlfriend has a torn cv boot.
Noticed it right when it happened over the weekend and stopped driving that car.
Is there any way to just pump it back full of grease and flex tape over the tear?

flext tape will probably make it rigid and cause more tears

can you use a soldering iron or heat gun to seal it?

sewn it back together and contact adhesive it with a sliver of vulcanized rubber.
