   The most deadly animal in the world is only a 0.59 inches in size: the Golden Dart Frog (Phyllobates terribilis). Secretions through the skin contain alkaloidal batrachotoxin sodium channel blockers, which kill within seconds or minutes. A single touch, just one milligram of poison (2.0µg), is enough to kill between 10 and 20 humans. Even animals, or humans, treading on its path die within minutes. There is no antidote.     Because if you remove them from their natural habitat they turn harmless. Scientists still aren't sure exactly why.
