China's no covid policy is their latest attempt at seeing how much control they can have over an individual. Imagine it like this, at one point chickens were raised by farmers, he and his family ont heir farm grow many things, one of them is chicken, he maybe has 30 or 40 of them, chicken is thus very valuble by weight.
Now Tyson owns 150k+ chickens on their chicken farm and instead of it costing that much by weight to produce it costs near nothing. The chickens are not given freedom, are over packed, are only able to do what's necessary to make them productive for the farm, and ultimately serve a single purpose with as a little input as necessary in order to produce the maximum output possible.
But instead of chickens it's Chinese people and instead of a poultry company it's the Chinese Communist Party.
They want everyone to stay inside, get as little as possible to eat, and only leave in order to manufacture and work, so they will be desireous to leave and to get that fresh air and be out of the house for 14 hours. And any dissent by anyone makes it so you can't leave your house under penalty of prison with the flip of a switch and the food deliveries to your apartment cut off with the flip of another switch. Now you starve to death infront of everyone who will not help you as you are marked as COVID POSITIVE lol
The chinese communist party is solidifying it's hold over it's number 1 resource: its people. My friend in china he is party member of very low rank, he tells me that he is able to go out on every other day driving and it is common for them to spend hours before or after work doing other things and just saying they are in commute, meanwhile the average citizen is unable to get on the bus or transit unless it's within 30 minutes of their work shifts and some people are unable to leave their apartment building because their phones ID QR code won't scan to let them out, lol.
