0 multimedia, only software, code and text documents, pictures, exceutables, files, ISO's that type of stuff

media is not timeless but technology is and new media can be created from what is around. I would rather save as much potential as possible than see any shadow of the former world.

I would even seek out and destroy all film and television and make a computer virus that deletes it and put a copy on every CD-ROM with free operating systems I give out for free in my trade so it spreads far and wide, hopefully.

All classical works and cultural arts are useless to preserve except for historical purposes.

why would you watch movies about doomsday when you have the real thing going on outside? either participate in the madness and live out what youve been fantasizing this whole time, or hide and try to survive

Was told would need a guide b/c some of it was bullshit.

    lol depends which one

I think it would be useful to have as many games from every era, in a world without copyright laws the romhacks mod scene would be the only video game development, entirely amateur hobbyist non commercial and it would be cool as fuck like a golden age of software and code discovery instead of people needing to make a living they do this because it's the only thing to do besides survive is fuck around on a computer

I mostly run shit on low resource hardware, yeah anything from the gamecube, ps2, n64, handheld generation and previous you can run like butter on a smart phone nowadays, even on a shitty no grafix card laptop

I played the fuck out of every classic to death so I am more into replayability these days. I like yugioh for this becasuse the new versions are all pay to win buy fake digital cards like MTG online is or hearthstone or w/e. Yugioh ultimate master 2006 is the BEST version with the most cards. Final fantasy tactics, Tactics ogre, Disgea, Fire Emblem TRPG games are very good for replaying, turn based style RPG like paper mario, mario RPG for SNES, Mario superstar saga for GBA for example are long ass games that are pretty fun

Roguelikes are my favorite for offline gaming because of the random generation makes it always new and fun. Dwarf fortress and minecraft if you have autism

    ^
This is one of my favorite roguelikes its a piece of shit called IVAN where you eat banana, die and then blow up. Thats the entier game, been playing it for YEARS AND YEARS never beat it lol.

physics things are fun, map makers, warcraft 34 custom maps n shit, all the mod tools for bethesda games you could make a game from that alone with enough hacks

It's an over used term that demonstrates how new games are just rehashes of shit that has already been done to death 20yrs ago.
