    I don't get it

the people being made redundant are being given around 3 months' pay - the notice for people being let go states that they'll still be officially employed (to the end of february I think) but won't be expected to show up, though they still have to adhere to company policy until then (ie. don't attack Twitter publicly). that doesn't apply to people who are fired 'for cause' though, like some of the execs allegedly have been.

Mayor Breeze says there is 500 tech jobs needed for the city that the pay is competitive but it's better because they're union jobs and they come with a ton of security. hard to get fired from. have great 401k and retirement, full dental for the family as well as medical with low max caps

but they're not luxery jobs. they're not bragging jobs at twitter or facebook like companies. but who gives a fuck. I'd take a city job over working some bullshit twitter. regardless of the sleepy rooms and the free lunch and deli stuff.

search 'laid off' on twitter and look at the job descriptions they have on their profiles

Musk posted recently that there seemed to be 10 different managers for every developer the company employed

They can be legally fired for cause, which is repeated attacks on people's constitutional rights.

It sickens me how much these guys pay for tech companies when these companies consist of at most a few million $ of code.

are you telling me there's a huge market bubble and everything is valued at like 10x their actual value? Surely Tesla, at least, is actually worth more than half a trillion dollars?

The problem with RT was always that it asked uncomfortable questions about the west, not that it was pro-Russian.

"The cause of the fire was probably a shot from a hunting rocket launcher during a mass brawl."

    LOL wat

The prosecutor's office of the Kostroma region considers one of the likely causes of the fire to be the use of pyrotechnics: a drunken visitor fired from a hunting rocket launcher right inside the establishment.

for hunting bears rolling in BMPs
