During a few 100 years in the Southern United States, more than a few but less than a lot of nooses were unfortunately utilized to hang black ppl. Apparently, therefore it can be illogically concluded by the American public consciousness that all nooses (inanimate objects)are inherently evil, And no human being can possibly have any worthwhile or acceptable purpose for using a noose, other than hanging black people. With all the people England, France and Spain hung by nooses during the Middle Ages...Europe still seems to be ok with nooses existing. Critical thinking, folks. it's what's for dinner.

Folks plz don't scapegoat the pragmatically multi-functional nooses... only the noosers.

it looks pretty scarey. not sure if it was there prior to Wallace showing up but it makes sense that a noose would be easier to shut a heavy door because you can get two hands in.
loops are common, but usually have tape rolled around it and not the classic noose tie.
