2016-03-11 at 2:42 AM UTCA new detail emerges. All Rupublicunt rules, including Rule 40, conveniently expire one day before the convention, and have to be "renewed", and can also be "amended".

2016-03-11 at 4:38 PM UTC"The delegates could vote to change the convention rules even BEFORE the first round of balloting takes place. That’s right, in the days leading up to the convention, the RNC Rules Committee could recommend rules changes to the Convention Rules Committee. That committee could tweak the recommendations but they they would ultimately have to send the new rules to the floor of the convention for a vote by the delegates. If the delegates vote to change the rules so as to ‘unbind’ themselves, then they could vote for whoever they wanted even in that first round."

2016-03-14 at 5:10 AM UTCHere's a surprising development. Kasich doesn't have the minimum 2000 signatures to get on the ballot. So we have a guy who's running for President who doesn't even meet the minimum signature requirement to run. But here's the catch: nobody thought to check his signature count until 17 minutes after the disputed deadline to file a grievance to have him taken off the ballot, so Kasich is trying to stay on the ballot anyways by exploiting the fact that the grievance is "too late". Experts point out that a grievance wouldn't be necessary, since he didn't have the required signatures to begin with.
-
2016-03-14 at 5:51 AM UTCThere is no signature requirement. All that is required is being 35 years or older, being a naturalized citizen and having lived in the states 14 years or longer. Literally none of this Republican-Democrat bullshit is even legally binding. Its just some party specific bullshit that really doesnt affect the American people or the presidency as an office in itself.
-
2016-03-14 at 2:18 PM UTCNot true. For example, in Pennsylvanian, you need at least 2000 signatures to get on the RNC ballot. Kasich is a couple dozen short. Technically, he is now disqualified from getting on the ballot in PA. I'm a Canadian and I know this.

2016-03-22 at 10:01 PM UTCUPDATE: The GOP establishment cronies have recently decided to delete Rule 40, even though they know such a change will be guaranteed to destroy the party and hand the win to the Democrats. This means that any Tom, Dick or Harry can walk in off the street, with no delegates at all in hand, no debates, no rallies, no media, and just take over the nomination from Trump. The will of the people is of no consequence whatsoever. Watch for the riots.

2016-03-28 at 3:39 PM UTCNow the establishment grunts have decided to award Cruz more delegates than Trump in Louisiana, even though Trump won the majority of votes by a vast margin in the State. Trump is launching a lawsuit, and he has billions, and lots of friends in high places.
-
2016-04-18 at 7:39 PM UTCUPDATE: renegade corporate capitalist sock puppets in the RNC have thrown aside the entire voting process, nullifying all votes of the people in two entire states, awarding all delegates to the establishment candidate mole, Cruz, despite Trump having a massive amount of votes over Cruz. Apparently, this RNC cabal of oligarchs have managed to successfully hijack the whole of the democratic election process in plain sight. Your vote has been declared worthless. This is the biggest story in all the history of US politics, but the paid-off mainsteam media lapdogs are quiet on the subject, as usual.

2016-05-02 at 1:50 PM UTCUPDATE: in a last ditch effort to hijack the nomination process, Cruz has begun bribing delegates with cash, promises of favor, real estate and other expensive gifts. It's backfiring on him, though, because Roger Stone has launched a campaign to keep track of who the delegates are and threatened to make the information public, including names, phone numbers, hotel room numbers and other personal information. This has the paid-off delegates very worried, and they are now talking about dropping Cruz, in fear of what the people might do if the establishment cronies do get in and manage to invalidate the votes of the masses.
