poland had an actual fucking insult law. where it can be punishable mostly money like being fined but possibly in theory some jail just to talk shit or insult someone that is called zniesławianie or poważanie. It is nothing like the usa libel laws that only relate to other people hearing some outrageous false claim like a public peroen making one vs private citizens or that requires one other perosn besides the private citizen hearing or reading it and also they have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt it is false and its only s civil court. you can in poland say you are a whore to a single perosn in a private message and in theory the cops could go after you lol. its been used when people insulted religious institutions not sure about other cases. but its fucking weird its even a law when usa is a super police state law hevay country and doesnt even have such a law. like calling someone a whore or pedo or something you may have cops apparently knock on ur door
