   How the fuck can anyone reach ages 18 and not realise that who is president (or prime minister) is really doesn't fucking matter?
   
   Every election cycle they offer big changes to the status quo, and every election cycle people get upset by them breaking 'promises'.
   
   It's almost as if they have limited power to do anything.
   
   It's almost as if the head of governments job is to rubber stamp things and act as a frontman for the press.
   
   It's almost as if massive amounts of power are concentrated in the hands of the media, big business, and the civil service - none of which are elected or accountable.
   
   Hope. Change. MAGA. Why didn't they just do the things they promised??? Don't worry the next one is gonna change things up for sure!
