Yes, POTUS does maintain the same clearance level for life that they had while in office. Also, while in office, POTUS may declassify absolutely anything by simple verbal decree. And finally the only "evidence" you have personal knowledge of is whatever the talking heads on the box have told you.

Doesn't work that way. Everyone is assigned to security clearance and levels. Trump nor Biden can just hop on a plane and land anywhere without clearance. If Trump wanted to land at area 51 he can't just do it. They have to go through protocols -
