   I really want to play the lute also, but its well beyond my skill level I think. 16 string lute would be so dope

   They have music collectives there? Like clubs where people of different levels go to and hook up and play. Sometimes it turns into forming bands. There are a few around San Francisco and Berkeley area. Famous one out here is Ashkanazi (Jazz and blues) and Gilman 924 (Punk alternative and other genres) or they sed to be. Then they have concerts sometimes.
   
   You're in Chicago? I'm sure they have them all over Chicago? Chicago is blues af.

   Would be really cool to do something like that. I don't really have the skills for it yet though.
   
   Need a D harmonica or one of those metal backed banjo-y guitars.
