What does this mean? Are u saying the UN has prevented consolidation of regional powers because it forces the big sticks to defer to other global big sticks? Should everyone try to be more like Theodore Roosevelt? Is there anything about Theodore Roosevelt we all shouldn't aspire to emul8 in every way? -

real power is largely unelected and unaccountable (to the people they're meant to represent). foreign policy, monetary policy, economic policy - they're effectively dictated by central banks, the Federal Reserve, groups like the Council for Foreign Relations, the Trilateral Commission, Chatham House etc.,
you can shout freedom all you want but it doesn't change the fact that Trump was the only recent US president to wander from what's been essentially the same foreign policy since WWII... and look how he was treated for it.
at least with a military dictatorship they don't bother with masks and you know where the orders are coming from -

Yea threatening to nuke Iran really shook things up
Was great when he had that closed door meeting with Putin
Mueller Report memo released in full last week
yea he was treated like shit for no reason lol -
2022-09-07 at 1:09 PM UTC1. relentless aggression against Iran's been policy for a long time, so not what I'm talking about. he did Suleiman real dirty though, luring him with a diplomatic request and then having him assassinated.
2. he wouldn't have needed to if he wasn't constantly under attack from the retarded Russiagate conspiracy theory. -

1. Lol. How does aggression factor in at all? Talking about nuking another nation publicly was a bitch ass move. And besides this... other nations stopped sharing intelligence with the trump Admin. Because of the Mar-A-Lago stuff going on now. How does this not severely damage American foreign policy? You are dumb as a rock aldra. I could give many, many examples.
2. Except, it wasn't a conspiracy theory. Members of his team did collude with Russians to interfere in the elections. The Mueller report came up short because of the obstruction. Read the senate select committee findings. -

How was Trump much different from predecessors? He was less droney than oBOMBa but expanded troops in Afghanistan, continued operations in Syria and Iraq, gave Kim Jung Un a ton of clout and legitimacy, started a "trade war" with China that hurt the US more than ch8na and still needs subsidizing.
He didn't start any new wars but there's nothing he did that was revolutionary. He actually showed a distinct inability to understand regional issues to do withbforeign policy. He made provocative moves in favor of Israel and turned his back on the Kurds. Is there anything I'm missing about how shitty he was at foreign policy? Non interventionalism (if that's a word) is all good and all but the world is dynamic and by all accounts the US has lost both hard and soft power.
It's pretty hard to sell people on the idea of giving up democracy just because it makes a country weaker internationally. I really don't see how Trump was much different from anyone else either besides his laughable rhetoric about fire and fury. Rawr -
2022-09-07 at 1:20 PM UTCMueller is a Republican too. Was appointed by Trump's AG. He got Comey fired.

are you retarded? I said he was the only one to deviate from established foreign policy, not that it was positive in every case.

I have. The entire retarded commission was justified by a report paid for by his political opposition, facilitated by the FBI and an ex-British spy and written by a drunk who had no Russian political connections and hadn't been to the country in over 20 years.
If you'd actually read the findings, you'd be able to see that there was never any evidence provided for any sort of 'Russian interference', the sources are literally just 'the FBI/CIA/ODNI believes this'. -
