Beef Stew

  1. #1
I think I'll make a big crock pot this LONG weekend.

Beef is way down in price thanks to the drought...many cattle ranchers are liquidating their assets (killing orf their cows) which means there is a oversupply of beef at the moment so if you're a lover of meat, head down to your local Aldi and get yourself a 1lb or 3 before prices go up due to all the existing cows being slaughtered.

Pics to follow if the Beef Stew happens.

Ok I'm sorry I'll change the way I post from now on. Maybe I'll try to be funny and content-rich like that cigarette guy always is, but no promises.

Ok so the truth is I don't really like beef stew because I don't like stew. I was serious about if I do eat it I do like to eat it when I'm camping or in a rustic setting if possible.

I was also serious that I really just like the meat carrot and potatoes.

I was also serious about getting free meat from NDSU but I can see why none of that sounded believable.

    Hope that clarifies everything.

The food pantry regularly used to give it to me in canned form. I liked it, didn't really like the potatoes though, do th ey make potatoless stew? Or is that the whole point of it being stew?

What else other than meat carrot and potatos is in there? onion?

I wish I had free meat but i havne't been on grindr yet.
