   Aren't gun shows just you pay cash and avoid all the paperwork because you aren't buying "A gun" you are buying a display used old firearm second hand it's not like a store selling you a brand new stinger missile with the papers and the background check.

    All it takes is one dude with paperwork and he can buy and sell enough to supply a militia legally and that can trickle down to the illegal market but where I live it's much more difficult to get illegal guns because the legal supply is so restricted that even people like target shooters or hunters have to jump through hoops and get fucked constantly. The illegal market is like second/third hand sellers of either stolen or smuggled stuff so you can end up with some weird shit
