   I can't in good faith choose one or the other. They both have pros and cons that the other doesn't have and some that overlap. If I HAD to choose with a gun to my head, I wouldn't be able to and I'd let them kill me.

   The only real pros I can think of with alcohol is it does more to ease my anxiety and make me more social.

    meth is just as easy to make, people think it's hard because it's illegal but there are foods more complex than the basic highschool level of chemistry knowledge needed for cooking some drugs.
    
    You could teach 16 year olds or younger how to brew alcohol but nobody ever does for some reason. I had to learn it on my own later in life which I think is the case for most people.
