Apparently if their income information is up to date their "account" should be automatically debited...you'd have to log in though to see that. IF you're income info isn't up to date you have to contact "them" to update your info before you get the forgiveness...they talked about it this morning on the radio and gave the website to go to if you need to update your income info...but obviously I don't remember it. I'm sure you can google it though...or more info on how to check/claim will be issued in the coming days. -

Call centres have been retained, in India, to call and verify borrower information. In some cases a reimbursement account may need to be established, but an agent would be able to walk you through this. -

2022-08-25 at 5:46 PM UTCI could possibly benefit from this, but it's still not fair to the folks who paid their own way, or to some people who went into debt for school but their creditors were other entities other than the federal government. They get the short end of the stick.

2022-08-25 at 5:49 PM UTCThere is a general movement in this country to absolve people of as much personal responsibility as possible, these days. People (including myself) shudn't get rewarded for not paying back their student loans. That's not right.

Just as I benefited from the stimulus checks a year or two ago...I certainly didn't need the money and I most definitely thought it was a bad idea with EXTREMELY poor targeting. No one I knew needed that money and basically spent it on "toys" or just put it in their savings.
If you are giving money away give it to those who actually need it...same with this bullshit debt forgiveness...give it to those that need it...not people earning 125k ..what the fuck -
2022-08-25 at 5:55 PM UTCImagine giving 10k/20k to people making 75-125k...meanwhile there are people living in tents down the street.
Biden logic at it's finest. -
2022-08-25 at 5:56 PM UTCPeople who make over 125K should get their loans, docked, too. That's bullshit.

But People who make more generally increase their lifestyle, and debts, substantially, so that doesn't necessarily mean they r flush with cash. it all comes down to how much money is being paid to how much money is being received. I know several dudes who are making 6 figures but are still going to get $500 to $1000 payday loans every week. Just because someone is a high earner doesn't mean they're a good money manager. -

2022-08-25 at 6:30 PM UTCI own a bog and a swamp and I charge rent to witches for their use. I went to school for 8 years to learn about bog ownership. I make exactly $125001 per year for this but spend money on swamp upkeep. Am I included Mr. BRANDON?

it's kind of beside the point though, because I personally didn't have my 'education paid for by the state' unless you count primary school. what's that called again where you make up things about the person making the argument rather than dealing with the argument itself?
i don't really give a shit about you aldra lol. -
