   You are right that I personally wouldn't have any fears with a forum. Although I was really thinking more about just registering for a forum and how that might feel shady to the average reddit user. I think the average reddit user doesn't have experience registering for any kind of website that doesn't have millions of users so I tried to step into the mind of an internet-illiterate person.
