thre's a parked car with the door open to the right

you could make some safe assumptions based on the age/model of the car, but generally speaking unless it's from the last 5-10 years with an entirely integrated head unit it's most likely they just tied the trigger to the speedometer (even in relatively new cars it's just a digital signal sent over a serial line)

Russia gets a radicalized Dugin, once he's out of shock. Because what does the guy have to lose now? The only message that was sent was: The enemies of Russia killed your kid. The fact is intelligence agencies know this.

What i want to know is how the bomb was constructed. Specifically, how it was initiated. Remote control? Timer? Tied to the hardware of the car? A mechanical operation?

Then we would know if this was a weapon that allowed for precision. If it was, the victim didn't die as collateral damage.

keep in mind Dugin got talked up a lot in the West but doesn't have much of a following in the Russian state apparatus. He doesn't (didn't) have any special security or protection so he was a soft, high-value target whose death wouldn't affect ongoing conflicts or domestic political stability.

If we assume there was a logical reason for him being targeted (we can't, really) it'd have to be to make Russia look weak to the West or a high-profile diversion from something else

also this, the guy's 60, why not just shoot or stab him? was it just for spectacle, to give the media plenty of photos and videos to run with? what other reason is there to set a bomb to trigger on the highway rather than upon ignition or shortly after?

if it was Ukrainians or other Eastern Europeans with an axe to grind I'd expect a kidnapping/execution before a car bomb

Apparently the bomb was meant for him, she was just borrowing his car.

Some people are saying the Ukrainians did it, which probably ascribes them too much competency. Others are saying elements of the FSB, which seems sort of plausible to me.

Do you think it was a rogue element in the FSB hitting a Putin ally or do you think he turned on Putin and was put down?

Article by Dugin about child sacrifice.

If Dugin gave up his daughter to die, due to her political ambitions and scheming, it explains a lot, like why she was in his car and he in hers. The intention was to make the hit look like it was typically sloppy Ukrainian work, with him the real target.

The way the FSB came up with the whole story of the assassin so quickly, similar to how quickly the Chinese fake-traced the source of covid to a precise stall in a Wuhan wet market, is sus af. The whole case all tied up with a neat little bow within a couple of hours.

You might think these people wouldn't do something so ruthless and heartless, to sacrifice one of their own for a propaganda win. You'd be wrong.

She's not really dead, that was a Ukrainian refugee they used in the explosion.

That's the sort of thing they'd do if they actually cared. Although getting rid of her actually works from multiple angles, like everything else these sorts do. You get a martyr, and you take care of a nuisance.

The thing is Dugina was trying on getting involved in politics, reaching out to European politicians like LePen, being Russian ethno-nationalist, mouthing off and being opinionated. Branching off from her dad and his weirdo theories and trying to be effective, seeing what worked.

They hate that in the Kremlin system, cos even if you're with them today, you could be against them tomorrow.

The Kremlin system is all about raw power. The only people allowed to have a point of view in that sort of system are the guys at the top. Everyone else just waits around to be told what they should think.
