This is actually a big day for all of you, because you're getting in on the ground floor with a captivating new youtube channel. I want to make a video about Totse eventually, but my next video is going to be about Ebaum's World (eBaums was more popular. I gotta get some clout before I can make the content I really want to). Anyways, here it is:

In your profile make sure you’ve checked the ‘ Enable videos embedded in posts:’ box and save the change

Then use the symbols at the top right of the reply box, the box containing what looks like 8mm film is video. The box to the right of it is for pictures.
Paste the link up into the box that opens when you click one of those icons

The arrow is pointing to the video icon embed

Paste the link into this box showing below

    Here’s your video

Wow thanks. I didn't expect this detailed of an explanation. I still almost wasn't able to figure it out though. You gotta have the "enable editor buttons" box checked. That one seemed to be unchecked by default. Anyways, much appreciated.

If you made that video by yourself I am rather impressed. I need to learn how to cool stuff like that.

nah reddit is fine except how all the best communities have been banned, you are just upset you got banned from your favorite leftist circle jerk because you used the wrong pronouns for a tranny or something

r/totse is how a lot of people end up here, there are good subreddits, the darknet/drug ones, and uhhh... like drug cooking and shit, these have been around longer than this forum, they are strong communities and people are so quick to just write it all off HURRR MFERRER MUH LEDDIT EPIC LE MEME FOR NORMIES XDD which is a very rocknoseian elitist take

The problem is viewing this as a one or the other. The internet is a lot more fragmented and decentralized now that almost no two people use the same anything anymore, email host. iphone vs android is one of the few left in that realm but OMG ARE YOU ON FACEBOOK isn't relevant, lots of people use insta, lots of people don't use it.

how many people here have a snapchat

No. I hardly ever actually posted. I mostly just lurked. I can't even remember my username back then, but it almost definitely had "ian" in it somewhere.

Thanks. I did do it all on my own. I mean, I used a lot of free stock footage, and the cartoon guy is just a basic avatar I made with Vroid Studio. But the script and editing was all me. This took me something like 60-80 hours to make btw, but I'm sure I'll get faster with the editing as I get more practice.

Everything used to make this video was 100% free, so if you do want to learn to create videos it's actually a pretty accessible hobby. I used KDenLive (free software) for video editing, but there's also another free video editing program called Davinci Resolve that's pretty popular.

yeah, idk I might start just using my actual face or might just not have the avatar or my face. I originally was using this avatar for my very edgy podcast (BS Nonsense Podcast - availiable on youtube, spotify, apple or w/e else you listen to podcasts), so I didn't want my actual face associated with it.

I skipped around your video cuz i dnt need to hear your recapping of common websites.

One major logical fallacy is your mixed criticisms. One point being waaaa i dont want millions of people viewing my comment coupled with waaa i have to manually add people to my private subgroup

hmm I might need to work on my ability to get my point across more efficiently. The whole bit about r/all was to describe how the structure of Reddit facilitates cultural uniformity across subreddits which can lead to some niche communities losing their original identity. I think this happens a lot where a subreddit start out cool and interesting, but then it blows up after getting a few posts on r/all and all of a sudden it morphs into something unrecognizable from any other large subreddit. I'm getting the impression you did not take that away from my presentation, but that's probably an issue with how I wrote the script.

    Thank you for watching though.

    documentary fail.

how can we take something someone says about internet forums when that person doesnt even know how to do simple forum-related stuffs like handling video and image tags.

pls consult spectral about internet forums and its predecessor, the BBS.

If you think a person actually needs to know wtf they're talking about to be successful on youtube, then you just aren't knowledgeable on how youtube works.

I think I know enough about both classic internet forums and Reddit that everything I said in the video is valid. Anyways, I know vBulletin forums usually use the [vibeo] tags, but I didn't know this site would have that functionality, and I'm too dumb to have considered trying it out before asking.

It's ANYWAY not ANYWAYS, just so you know for the future if that's something you care about in regard to how you talk or type or anything.

Other than that your video as I said earlier was impressive if only for the editing and production alone regardless of the content and who or who may not agree with it (which is the point of course. It would be weird to state an opinion that 100% of people agree with).
