You should have go yourself a harsh traditional English upbringing where any form of affection is frowned upon and seen as weak...then you'd never feel lonely.

When I moved from Manchester England to Houston Texas I went from being an average Mancunian commoner to an exotic and sophisticated English gent who can go to the head of the line by just saying
"Excuse me, I'm British"
...and a clear path to the front is formed "go right ahead sir!"
