Can you explain the scene of Comfortably Numb to me?
So he's a kid during WWI (1916-1918?) and he's playing with a rat he found, where his mother scoots him outside of the house.
he uses his sweater to keep the rat worm. The next scene is of him sick as a child. clearly a victim of blubonic plague and or Spanish Flu which may have also been carried by fleas on rats.
Then he's in a piece of shit hotel or apartment room, passed out flashbacking to his childhood. and they're injecting him as they did when he was with fever as a child.
The era based on the clothes for his adult period shows as classic 1970s. 1980-81 tops. that's umm 60-62 years after the age of about 12. that would make the guy 72, yet he's clearly under 40 years of age. early 30s it looks.
