What do you pray about?
I try to make prayer into a habit so Ill pray whenever I drive pass the children's hospital and usually at work.
Rarely do I ask for anything. Most of my prayers involve me expressing gratitude.
The kids in that hospital I ask to be healed but as far as I go I dont ask for anything. Just "thanks God for this that and those over there".
Making it into a habit keeps me from forgetting and instead of a set time I use landmarks to remind me to pray.
Landmarks I know Ill pass like that hospital.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -
2022-08-07 at 12:02 PM UTCI don't consider it praying but i meditate and put thoughts into the universe daily and am working on manifesting my future with thought and concious intention daily.
Its not easy and is a challenge. I find myself thinking negative thoughts and try to quickly snuff those out for positive intentions. -

Why waste your time meditating to nothing when you could be praying to God? -

When I was really wasted I would pray for sobriety and freedom from addiction.
I also pray bad things happen to my enemies by name with some success when they're in positions where I cannot get them myself. -

I should pray more. Sometimes I pray for people who are hurt sometimes my family. It guides me and keeps me on track -

What am I "supposed" to achieve then? Society is pretty rigid and nobody is down to destroy computers and cook meth in the forest because they are evil nazis, and not the good kind either -

Cooking meth in the forest is a better life than working as a middle-manager or working-class business owner, as long as you don't overdo it on the meth. I would consider a self-sufficient forest meth-maker to be more successful so long as they are also happy.
Success involves reclaiming your time + humanity from society, which often requires a lot of money, though it doesn't have to. But it makes it easier. This is the only way to truly enjoy the passage of time.
Most people are too drawn up in their own cultural and societal influences to seek what is truly important in life. They SEE it, but they don't seek it because of pressure telling them otherwise. No, I work for myself. Everything I create is mine. I carved out a living in this society that works for me.
Notice how I am posting on NIGGASIN.SPACE in the early morning, and not getting ready for work on a Wednesday? My living, my schedule.
My bills are paid. I have everything I want.
I can buy a ticket out of the country or apply for (and get) residency in another country. I'm able to achieve this because I utilized the advantages made available to me by society.
The freedom to have anything, do anything, go anywhere--that is true freedom.
The fact that you think of this inherently involving money is evidence of your cultural predisposition, evidence of your materialistic values that you claim to refute. -
