I bought my gf two phones last year. She died last November. I gave the one she was using to her sister. I was going through some stuff and I found the other one. Thing is, it's password locked. I tried a hard reset and it still needed a code. Is there anyway to break it? It's retailed over 200 so I'd be willing to cash app whomever ever can help me.

if you're not worried about getting data off it boot to recovery (usually start up the phone holding power and one of the volume keys) and reset from there
you can probably also use adb on your computer
