there used to be bison at this farm where i grew up near that had like corn mazes and a pumpkin patch and bullshit during october, id' go there and create a lot of mischief and shit, and there were bison behind this electric fence. I would grab ears of corn from the corn maze and then throw them at the bisons and find the snorts as snacks hit them to be wonerfully delightful, if you hit them in the face they move around, most of the time they just stand there with no emotion.
It was very cold in wisconsin, I imagine they're a lot faster/more active when its warm out.
