Some advice my dad gave me when I was 12 was to never go into a pub with a full pack of cigarettes, so yeah he knew. My mum made one snarky comment but that was it, I'd smoke in the house. I don't think they were bad parents, I was a brat and they both smoked when they were younger.
alcohol is super expensive i literally spent my freelance salary all of it and have since my 20s all on it. -
