I'm feeling Roth401k because I assume taxes will only go up.

Fuck, I opened both just in case I'm wrong.
I'll split it 6 months heavy on one and 6 months heavy on the other.

Im not sure if I can transfer my old 401k accounts into a Roth401k and that is more the reason why I opened both.
I am putting 1% in my 401k and 5% in my Roth 401k and my company matches me with an extra 4% for my 5% and then throws me an additional 3% for nada so right now I am at 13% with a 2% increase annually.

At age 40 that 3% for nada increases to 4% for nada and it age 50 it increases to 5% for nada.

I do both and split mine. I've only had mine for like 3 years and I'm at $51k.

Most of the year I contribute 50%. %25 into each. I buy stocks with the rest of my income and dump cash into precious metals.
