Sold my old 2011 RWD pick-up that had 126k kms on it and got this 2017 4x4, only 31k kms, good condition. Has a lot of nice features that I've never had in a vehicle before, like a navigation system, sunroof, heated seats, etc.

Is that a sonoma or the quarter ton GMC thing? Looks decent and 31k is fuck all. Good investment that you'll probably get alot of use out of. Is it a 5L?

A vehicle is only an investment if it is used commercially. Otherwise it is always a liability.

PS driving back and forth to a job and parking it while you work is not commercial use.

If you are given a company vehicle to complete your assigned tasks that would commercial use and an investment in a disposable resource for the company chump.
