One grandfather of mine smoked (mostly big cigars towards the end) and drank heavily and worked hard and lived to be 92. He was married to his wife for like 70 years and was not nice to her for the most part bit they were codependent and sweet like people used to be. After she died he passed a few years later.
My other grandfather was born in Scotland, came to Canada, smoked and drank and gambled and was kind of a horse feed prodigy who would still manage to fuck up on the horse races despite having a clear edge (and knowing most of the jockeys). He had a heart attack and died at 50. He was much less of an asshole than my other grandfather by all accounts.
Idk the trajectory my life will take but if this is middle aged for me I'll certainly take it although I think that's optimistic. I've done some damage, have some physical problems and have read about prison taking years off your life. I think the stress and pills are hurting me but I'll see what it says when this blood work comes back -

I would say the most common guy "my age" is someone like wariat or hiki minus the noncery, usually single. plays a lot of older games and drinks alcohol and get into more serious relationships in their 30s

They will rat cheat steal do whatever to get ahead but they need to be shown how to do it Because they lack common sense and intuition even if their applied and advanced reasoning skills are sometimes really surprisingly good. They're pretty fucking fortunate and I'm a Lil jealous in some ways and very frustrated in others.
Everything is transactional and they don't do uncomfortable things that help them grow. Their arms are tiny and they need guidance lest the weakness of the world swallows them whole. I'm so glad my son is already displaying so many strong leadership qualities. He's going to need to whip these peons into shape -

I can't even imagine what it's like to have a son.
My father gave me a living inheritance once of something like 10k USD. Fuck all.
It did let me go to Africa and buy a laptop at a time when I wasn't earning a lot of money, but besides that it was a waste.
I worry evert single day about my legacy, like what will my kids do with my money when they inherit it. I don't have any kids yet. -

Money ain't shit and the worst people are people who inherit wealth. I just don't want him to be poor and have to go outside with a bar of soap in the rain to get clean because our pipes broke, or eat cereal with water instead of milk, apart from third world poverty (which is really only bad if youre acutely aware and can compare) I'm worried about continuing the several generation cycle of addiction and trauma. If you had a kid who is somewhat emotionally healthy, with or without you4 influence, you did something right. Although I haven't spent a ton of time with my daughter lately I know she has a firey spirit in her and is on the right path, somewhat thanks to her slovenian step dad I cucked. I want to be a wholly positive influence on her so I gotta get in and lay some groundwork so it doesn't fuck her up later.
Just worry about knocking up a bitch wi5h some stability and the rest will follow.

The super j00ish (hooked nose, goes to Florida 2 months a year, doesn't practice law during Yom Kippur/high holidays) lawyer I had twice who worked some courtroom magic for me is super old, distinguished, rich and only practicing for the love of the game. HOWEVER almost all cases I hear about him taking now have to do with noncery, it's all teachers who fucked kids or some famous persons nephew who got busted with kiddie porn, how fucking scummy do you have to be to spend the twilight years of your distinguished legal career defending child abusers and trying to get them lower sentences INCLUDING fighting for doing away mandatory minimum sentences for child abusers. What the actual fuck? That's so unnecessarily scummy, I honestly can't wrap my head around it. He's gotta be 70 years old, worth at least 10-15 million and spends his time defending predatory nonces. Sickening
