   I'm not really into meeting people I talk to online. It's nothing personal just a rule I set myself after being catfished back in the 80s before catfishing was even a thing. Then there is the issue of enjoying anonymity and that being out the window if you meet up with the freaks you've been conversing with. It's easy for someone to cause you all kinds of hell these days when they have your PI.

   I met a weed dealer off facebook once, it was sketchy but the guy came through and became a long term hook up for my friends and I for years all because I randomly messaged him one day
   
   I have known some people on the internet for years and years like this one dude I met on a video games when we were 15 and I still talk to him, he's from Europe and he's a total skitzo incel nut case but I would grab a beer with him.
