Just under 1 Hectare or about 2.2 acres.
I'm looking at a 20 acre with a hill on it, to bore into the hill but I might use that money to have a septic tank installed on the current property.
But this other land is near the Piute reservation outside a town called Fernly Nevada. Or North Reno.
The Piutes have the Pyramid Lake. A huge fresh water reservoir about half the size of the San Francisco bay.
I bought this originally to make sure I had someplace to live but the original land requires steep permit costs, and new building codes.
I have to save up for that shit but I need the basics. Septic, Water source and I'm gonna build a storage shed for now.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -
2022-07-05 at 9:44 PM UTCAlso. I found out most of this land do not have public access to it. Which means you have to cross private property. Which means your neighbor can block you from entering access. This is why there is so many acres dirt cheap out there.

2022-07-05 at 9:48 PM UTCThe 1/4 acre I've put an offer in on has water/electricity/cable but not sewer so I'll need to put a septic on it...it's far enough outside of houston that it's rural but close enough that the mentioned utilities are available. I went to see it on Saturday and it's perfect...if a little small...I'd prefer more land but then I'm not getting any younger etc so I thought fuck it and put an offer in.

That's great. I'm happy for you. It's not near any target areas of interest like a depot base or infrastructure like electrical power plant?
I mean I came to realize there is an army base wich might defeat rural from strike advantages
But then again, those would be the heaviest protected.
I wanted to stay clear of such things. People can laugh at this as being paranoid but realistically this world is fucked. Even if Russia ends this war soon. The buildup of NATO is just a matter of time. 5-10 years before a major trigger event is my guess. But it's still a smart idea to grab what you can even in better times. -

That's arcade mode. People forming survival gangs to collectively steal from other ones.
The objective is to place solar panels into position, and figure out how to camo them from detection and stand guard of your shit and then remove them at night to keep from being stolen or damaged
Everything is locked underground in a bunker.
Go up to surface for some sun for an hour or two a day and th rest of the time keep your mind busy doing art projects or fixing shit or building new things.
Hope you never get a serious infection or God forbid, a sudden Appendicitis
