on the war in Ukraine western media outlets continually report that 'the world is agains Russia', when in actuality they're talking about the governments of most of North America and Western Europe - and even if they did represent 100% of the people of those countries, it's like 20% of the world's population.
same goes for most of these popular, divisive issues like abortion or 'gun control' - only one side gets the bulk of the media representation so it gives the impression that the other doesn't exist. you only ever see the people who work themselves into a fervour over them; you don't often hear from the people who aren't invested enough to go to rallies and protests, and that's by design.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -
