Quirky dwellings

I’m interested in interior design and sometimes copy things from my friends’ houses to remember them, such as placing a Russian doll in a glass bookcase or using bookshelves to store pots and pans. I’m wondering if anyone has interior design ideas or special ways they decorate areas.

Actually i am pretty good at all kinds of design. As long if it has to do with visuals pretty sure i can manage. But i have to see the interior, and know what materials i am working with.

Not asking anyone to redecorate for me, just if they have anything quirky in their own homes. Anything.

I wasn't under the impression i was redecorating for you.

    What would you consider quirky?

Not sure if it would be considered quirky bt i have a tendency to build lighting in my cabinets, in such a way where you don't see the light source but stuff gets illuminated indirectly. Looks nice, and allows me to see what junk i got in my cabinets.

Honestly. Victorian or Edwardian is the last time England had decent architecture.

They tear out quante old thatching roofs or old dutch or tutor style homes and replace with hidious swiss looking box shit structures cause it's "modern"

"Let's just Now rid the old."

Because the historical society of both the UK and North America don seem to exist anymore. Rustic isn't trendy and we should remove it all. Then future generations cry that building that held up for 300-500 plus years were ripped out because of the hate on Europeans and history.

It’s like my dad, his mum was from England and though his dad was Irish he was raised Anglican. He was secretly a nationalist though and couldn’t tell his family. There’s a pic of me with a Union Jack flag and him on the 12th that I couldn’t show anyone. It was just to keep his sister happy.
