At the end of the movie his ashes are made into a diamond ring which is something people do with their cremated loved ones. I found this strange, would you be okay wearing a diamond ring that was a person or with yourself being made into one?

assuming it's a situation where society has fallen apart and everyone's fighting over scraps, not eating someone you've killed seems like a waste. same goes for being way out in the wilderness where food is difficult to find. in the modern 'first world' it's unseemly and gratuitous though given you can just drive to the store and buy a steak.
I also kind of like those islander rituals where when someone dies, they're eaten by their family members -

I think they're two different things - eating someone for sustenance vs. eating someone you care about to meta/physically/phorically carry them with you, both make sense to me

I’m curious about the taste of human flesh but wouldn’t want to ever defile a corpse. If it were an enemy I wouldn’t care about their corpse but even then I wouldn’t want someone I hate to be a part of me. -

It is but I think there’s more to it that I don’t understand, such as the female’s perspective or if it’s really about getting someone so fat they can’t move then leaving them to die. I don’t know if the feeders actually want to have sexual intercourse with an obese person. I think sometimes men are not interested in a woman but what they can do to her. -

Nah the fetish stuff is too much. But yeah, eating a piece of someone so you have them with you dorever is sweet in a fucked up kind of way. But i wouldn't want to eat a person just for sustenance it'd have to be an emergency of some sort, yeah. -

I told my exwife #2 (who was quite a bit younger than me) that when I died I wanted her to take some of my ashes and bake them into muffins which she was then to consume so I'd always be a part of her.
She said "OK".
