Portable AC suck. And we can't have shitty swamp coolers put in the windows looking ghetto.and we can't buy a 8k unit because it requires an exhaust fan on the outside of the building -

That was really stupid of the builders to not install central air conditioning in those condominiums. It was really stupid of you to move into one of those condominiums. Unfortunately, there exists many stupid people. -

Portable A/Cs work fine if you get it sized correctly I purchased one for my aged father back in England a couple of years ago now they keep getting hot summers over there and he is delighted with it and forever is talking about how great it is when the temperature rises in to the 80s and 90s.

So in San Francisco area, near the water, none of the older apt or condos needed A/C but then Global Warming happened some 20 years ago, and yeah it's real. For 130 years SF never had weather above 90 on the hottest day until 2015 when it hit 103 and a year later 106.
It hits upper 80s all the time in all districts in late summer or early fall and sometimes 90s and 100
It's been year after year. It exist. Man made or not. It's unbearable to sit in this hot house between September through October. -

I saw the little frost well brand you put water. Ice cubes and freeze the enhancement for an hour and it last hours and cools down to 64-68 degrees in a 40 cubic area which is maybe what. ,4-5 feet away I can deal with the daytime heat bit night time I feel smothered and have shitty night sweats from the head and meds that can cause it even in tempered climate -

Some years we get an entire summer with almost no fog. But it's very rare. Summers are Winters .. not rainy or snow but damp cold and foggy.
And not stagnant fog Like London gets. It will be sunny and warm, a wall of fog that looks like a sand storm drapes up and over the mountain that separated the city from the avenues and suddenly it drops 15-20 degrees in 15 minutes and keeps getting colder.
