    You pay a mortgage. You're just paying it for someone else. Same goes for property tax and insurance.

    Somehow I got turned down for a 1500 credit card (I have a 300 one) when I own a house, heavy equipment and my credit is good or fair. I told the lady the years I was in prison and I was rejected because I miss payments for years when I was locked up. One was literally over a few cents.
    I have a ton of assets paper, 2 bank accounts that have never been in overdraft and own 2 smol bidniz and can't get a fucking $1500 card when my account with that bank had well over 10k in transactions every month except for the 2 months last year I was in jail.

    I feel like the J00ish system of usury discriminates against the marginalized and that includes people like me who end up in jail sometimes. Really the J00ish system of everything. I almost hope I never truly understand it.
