Up in North Dakota on the Bakken Shale, they have to truck it out, there is a limit per month of 10k gallons, not barrels but gallons until their central pipeline would be completed which last I heard outside of Dunn County near Manning, ND was 120 miles to go and most likely shot down by The state. It wasn't top quality oil like Texas

42 gallon barrels is like 230 barrels not 10,000 barrels. It's too high risk and damaging to the roads which is why they limited output.

    It's about 237 x 120 =$28,800:at 42 gallon B and change per month.

I wish I got some of that oil money but rights was not bought and they split that money with land owners in ND to be fair. but some of my family have friends that own it and they get maybe 120k a year if they own both mineral rights and the land. Some people's split is like 120 a month per rig. So if your family divides over and over and have 3 or 4 rigs it's 600 or so a month.

I was going to go up there and work on a rig, but the rent in western ND is like 2600 for a studio. As much as San Fran Bay
