The base pay for enlisted is less than the minimum wage in many cities, you can't really quit before your contract is up without getting the equivalent of a felony, they can extend your contract against your wishes, if you want to ride a motorcycle you have to wear a reflective orange torso-diaper and several other pieces of gear, you can be made to relocate anywhere, you can be put in dangerous situations in support of unpopular wars. -

Even a tech job fairly recently was all ready to hire me and then said a month later (me waiting and waiting) I was suddenly rejected, I figured agism against me. But I believe it's a blackwater NC company called American systems used by our Government to bg check on their own as well as a civilian sector.
