I was chit chatting with someone on offerup this week.
They had a particular telescope and mount for sale with a retail value of 9k...they were selling it for 2.5k. I figured I could knock them down to 2k.
Anyway while chatting the person revealed they knew nothing about it and had actually bought it at an estate sale for $100...
Now that's the thrifting find of the fucking century...it annoys me that was here in Houston and I didn't fucking find it.
ETA: If I'd spotted that at an estate sale for $100 I'd literally have pissed and shit myself on the spot and probably got the shakes too. -

That's good to know. I'll be keeping my eye out for telescopes and other hidden gems I can turn for a profit hopefully. Maybe I should livestream the whole thing on twitch so you can watch and give me insights. -
