    Or if people find out the cops were calling the cell phones of the kids telling them to cry out for help, so the shooter could locate them easier.

    Same thing happened in the Vegas shooting. Well not the same exact thing but there were a bunch of officers one floor below where Paddock was, and they just sort of...hung out there for a while, then went to the stairwell and hung out there for a while too, while he continued to do all his killing. Then he killed himself and they still don't go in for a other half hour. These are the real heros.
