That is why I have used them only when I need them and only just enough. In 07 the hospital had me on a fentynal patch, morphine drip, and IM dilaudid for almost 2 weeks. I went through horrible withdrawal after being released. About a week on the couch with vomiting, shakes, chills, sweats, and wanted to skin myself.
But I refused to take even a vicodin. In 13 I was on 80 MG of oxycodone per day for over a year. After my surgery I again stopped cold turkey. It's just a matter of will power period. I now manage my pain quite well with about 20 to 60 MG per day of plain old hydrocodone, light physical therapy on my own, an inversion table, and lots of riding on my Indian. The fine muscle control required to ride really helps pain management and the mental awareness required to ride safe keeps my mind distracted from the pain.
When you can realize that pain is just another sensation and stop using it as an excuse to be lazy it's much easier to manage. Plus the more you do the more you will find you are able to do.
Not picking anyone but just suck it up buttercup and be a man. -

Was this when you ran around bashing large groups of people on their heads with a hardwood cane? -

Not everyone has the luxury of taking two weeks off from life to lie around on the couch. I've got 2 small businesses and two small children who rely on me among many other responsibilities. Lying around on the couch for a couple weeks after a 2 week short term prescription for pain management isn't really comparable to years of constant use.
Suck it up buttercup, sorry you can't afford a long term recreational drug problem exacerbated by legitimate chronic pain issues. There are many ways to manage pain and discomfort, the withdrawal from prolonged opiate use is objectively debilitating.
Thats good you got off prescription pills thouggh, theyre certainly a devil and its good you are aware if the things that helped you get off and things that help your pain levels. Coping with pain is definitely something i need to work on and riding a motorcycle is definitely a good way to practice mindfulness. Indians are tiny knockoffs, tho you might as well be riding a Honda, you must be a cute little feller 😉 -

Speaking in Dallas on Wednesday at an event hosted by the eponymous George W. Bush Institute, the ex-commander-in-chief railed against the Russian government under President Vladimir Putin and his decision to send troops into Ukraine in late February.
“The result is an absence of checks and balances in Russia, and the decision of one man to launch a wholly unjustified and brutal invasion of Iraq – I mean of Ukraine,” he said, prompting laughs from the audience as he again murmured “Iraq” under his breath. He attributed the mistake to his age, saying “I’m 75” -

2022-05-19 at 11:15 AM UTCI'm getting a ton of contacts from old rich white people and I'm trying to think of a way to leverage this onto a position where I'm also old rich and white. My best chance right now is this super rich old guy who's a little arrogant but I can tell he likes me and we have the same motorcycle (center mine has more powA). Maybe I'll kr0z it up and bang his old wife while he jerks off in the corner. Kr0z was such a staple of this place its weird he's not constantly here.
