The difference between a submarine and a submersible is a submarine has enough power to leave port and come back to port under its own power. A submersible has very limited power reserves so it needs a mother ship that can launch it and recover it.
Here, lazy motherfucker…

yes, all submersibles are submarines with limited or impaired power and maneuverability.
still submarines tho. -

about $2500 worth of telescope (6" refractor), eyepieces and equipment…Jiggaboo's price? a mere $300. One of the eyepieces alone is worth $300.
The seller was I think a native America, maybe some Hispanic mixed in…a poor fellow living in the ghetto who found all this under the stairs of the house he moved into.
I was happy to exploit his dumbassedness and take it off his hands for relative peanuts…the white man wins again.
so it can stay under your staircase instead ? -

2022-05-19 at 4:54 AM UTCI can't use telescopes anymore because I have a stigma where my eye goes in and out of focus. Especially the right one
But if I ever build this cabin in the north Reno area, it has some of the darkest skies in the lower 48 .. city of Reno is small and about 50 miles south of north reno (which is not actual Reno itself.. just high desert)
I would mount a telescope on the roof and have it be on an auto tracker you hook up to a computer. Watch it live on a 50 inch screen -

Putting it on the roof isn't a good idea, heat rising from the house/roof will interfere with the image quality. -
