Quite frankly I find it disgraceful that our society is such a throw away and buy a new.
Remember the old Ford trucks from the 70s with galvanized steel bodies that lasted decades without rusting?
If a chain link fence doesn't have to rust, why does my fucking car?
It's okay, everything is brittle plastic on top of crummy aluminum pot metal now...

    Fuck Joe Biden

Actually you and his statement are part right

Joe was a former state senator to reduce car and engine size back in the 80s like Japan had small eco cars

And by luck, using thinner body material was acceptable In Crumple zone frames and chassis's to help absorb impact. Exterior and interior plastic door panel protectors where added .

Paint was reduced to three very thin n shitty coatings with 3 more clear coats to reduce more weight

Cars are made to last 10 to 12 years now.

It was your job to wash and place wax coating every few months during summer and winter months, OPie

That's not true. My dad is a painter and he told me recently of a 3 year old charger that was rusted out badly and the owner admitted to not washing it. I have seen newer trucks and cars with massive rust. Cars are not built to last any more. Ask anyone with a gm or Chrysler with a 3.6 V6. Most caddy's these days spend more time being repaired vs being on the road.

My Dad's 2 year old Benz has rust all over and Mercedes won't fix it and killed his warranty after he complained. Automakers fucking suck.

Trucks back then had thick metal and they used little to no road salt.
Thinner metal today to lower costs and weight. Tons of road salt because theres a bunch of niggers that think they can drive full speed when its icy.
Chain link fences dont have salt thrown on them.

    Yep I hear you Fona.
I bought a new Nissan Frontier in 2010 the thing still looks great, only have about 35k on it.
The rust underneath is horrible the brakes lines are going to burst and exhaust is falling apart, it sucks ass.
The material that car manufactures use is shameful.
The cars in the 50's were built from good steel.
On one of the trails I walk there is a 1953 Cadillac in the woods rotting away and it has been sitting in the woods for at least 35 years.
It still has brake lines, the fucking frame is intact, the rear diff looks fine, if that was anything built within the last 20 years it would be dust by now.
