This is a privately owned social networking platform. Anonymity isn't required everywhere, there are plenty of occasions both in our daily lives and online where we voluntarily do not remain anonymous, like when you meet a person IRL and go "hello, my name is Fred".

In this case we are discussing this privately owned social networking platform making the decision to forgo anonymity because it is the source of abuse on their platform. Tell me why that is a bad decision. Be specific. Otherwise I'm not interested because you are just a coward, why would I care?
