I hope to stay put for awhile. I’m done owning, I owned for 16 yrs and I’m tired of all my extra money going into the upkeep of a home. New furnace $7,000 new roof $10,000 etc. etc. I want to travel when I have extra money. I love this little house! Perfect for me and my dogs. Gotta get a riding mower though to do 1/2 acre.

You ever hear of minimalism and off the Grid? jiggy and I were discussing the concept of Quonset homes, off grid solar, well, septic tank.
Free water for plants, showers etc . the upkeep for solar is buying a battery every 3 years which are getting cheaper to buy.
Downside for me is I have a family member who knows real estate from foundation to appraisal so check your water for metal and ore like how north Reno has sulfite from silver which might be why plants don't grow well from all the run off of silver mines. I spend lots of money on bottled water but I may look into a home version of a reverse osmosis filtration if it helps. Or just basic bitch bromide to break it down and and charcoal and sand made filters
