She used to work at the facility I work at now and we were talking about how the D.O.N was the one who did the decorating when they remodeled the facility and we looked at each other and both giggled ....the same damn giggle ...

I remember when I had a best girlfriend named Stevie ..yes she was named after Stevie Nicks..
Her dad played in a cover band and her mom did social work ...
Stevie and I were literally the same person..
She was the first woman I was literally set up with ...
I was like 22 -23 I moved into some apartments and my neighbor Carla came over and welcomed me to the building ...
She talked to me and in the middle of us talking she’s like ... you need to meet Stevie ...........
Flat out those words .. she said .. you need to meet Stevie.. Stevie is gonna love you
And I’m just like okay ...
Few days later I get a knock at the door ..
It’s a blonde girl that looks eerily similar to Britney Spears and she’s like .. Hai im Stevie !

That was the one difference in our personalities.. the men we found attractive...
She thought everyone I liked was a dork and I thought everyone she liked was a Fuqn thug ....lol
And thugs is what got her on drugs ...
She went from the perfect size to telling me to check out her ribs...
She got to sniffing stuff and I couldn’t be intimate with her after that ...
It got to be very rare because..mm mmm no ..
But I miss her ... and I wonder if she’s okay all the time ..
I stopped talking about Stevie to men I’ve dated because they always get extremely weird afterwards like a very jelli time energy...
So I just don’t even bring her up at all.. sometimes I like to reminisce on those times .. but can’t lol...luckily I have this Diary......❤️

2022-04-29 at 2:25 PM UTCYes .. I agree totse..I think it's mostly the older generations and the ones they raised to be that way.. ...I remember Stevie telling me her dad threw away her SILK CD...silk was an R&B group that was mildly popular back in the day...
She said he threw the CD in the garbage when she was a teen...he was doin that in my mind because he felt she'd be into black guys...I genuinely believe it was a deterrent at that young age ..why can't she listen to SILK ..
But what he did was actually push her into the arms of everything he hated ...
But he's not like that anymore...her dad and mom always liked me a lot and always made sure she invited me to their family get togethers ... It became tradition for me to be there ..
That's why I was so shocked when she told me that story from when she was a teen...it was funny but sad at the same time..no one should be deprived of R&B... -
