To think of the countless time I spent staring at a magic time wasting box that shit propaganda at me makes me sick to my stomach.
I credit television as the #1 reason people don't bother making anything of themselves.
They'll just sit and stare for hours and hours gladly watching every advertisement forced upon them until their fake reality show comes back and they wait for the laugh track to let them know when to giggle.
If I could take back one thing in my life it would be all the television I watched.
The drug addiction I went through was bad but at least it helped me become a better person.
Tv only wasted precious time in my already short life.

I grew up without internet, TV or electricity for years and it was always a real treat when we would get the happy box hooked up I would watch fishing shows and hockey with my dad while he dug himself further into a cocaine addiction
I also watched the disovery channel because I was a curious child.
I think not having internet for most of the early 2000's made me miss out on a lot. I never even got a chance to become a TOTSE degenerate or socialize with school chums on facebook, not like I had many school chums but still. My dad bought me a cellphone when I was 15 so I could talk to girls because I think my parents could tell I was not developing socially I just played the same video games for years and years never going outside
but when I had a phone I suddenly was talking to girls non stop 24/7 even without MSN messenger and proper internet back then I would have to go to my buddies house and use his computer all night to talk to girls. The phone helped too but man dating as a teenager back then without a computer was hard, I was always competing with these beta fuck boys from the hills that had fancy laptops and stuff
By the time I did get fully online I watched less and less TV and now watch literally zero, but a fuck ton of youtube and twitch. I do not miss programmed television I am too into defi decentralized media and I can't even talk to people my age at work who watch streaming services and stuff. Even my girlfriend is a normie and watches a lot of "shows" but I am not currently really watching anything
There's some anime and new season of better call saul I'm into but that's pretty much it. To me the peak of entertainment was Ice Poseidon livestreams, I miss that more than all of the old internet and TV whatever combined.

It's all screens really. Even the internet is mostly just a broadcast medium. Occasionally people kid themselves that they are interacting with 'celebrities' on twitter, but mostly they're just consumers of messaging, just like TV.
I'm now addicted to screens, my kids will grow up addicted to screens. None of you cunts are real, now it's all just text generated by algorithms. I would go outside, but I'm scared. This is not how I expected my life to turn out.
I stopped watching t.v in 2012 and probably can't work one anymore. I remember the last shows I watched were Being Human, Black Mirror and Skins. Now I watch stuff online but not often and never ads. I remember on school nights I'd sleep early, wake up at 1am and watch horror movies all night every night, maybe it messed me up.

When I was a kid I didn't have cable and my parents said it didn't come in our area yet, only to find out that was a lie. I also thought a shower was a superb luxury of only the rich and famous and took baths like a pleb for most of my adolescence. I remember bragging to my friends that my parents had a Ford tempo which
I thought was cool because it wasn't beat to fuck. When I was in grade 5 this richer kid was like the "leader" of our friends and he didn't like me because I was troubled. I crept him on Facebook Abit ago and I have higher value assets and a better looking baby mom. If I see him I'm gonna make back handed white people passive aggressive remarks and raise my voice to a super fake level.

I didn't have cable tv as a kid. We didn't get cable tv until I moved out of my hometown to another town when I was in 11th grade. My hometown didn't get Cable TV until I was 20 years old.
The cable guy putting the descrambler thing for HBO for 50 bucks or some shit.
That was the greatest feeling of watching theater movies uncensored at home with no commercials especially on weekends with parents gone. Drinking beer, smoking weed.
Retarded looking back on that. And with internet and free movies now and porn and blah blah.
