   I just put a new trans pan on one of my trucks with a drain plug. Took a couple hrs.
   
   A cross member is easily unbolted as well as the exhaust where the ball and socket are. Heat up the bolts first and spray penetrating oil on them shits for a few days in advance.
   
   Or you could do a helicoil in the threads..ive done them in a few sleds i have and they worked great
   
   Also how tf did you strip it anyway, a fukn impact or breaker bar on your last oil change?
