His family moved in to the neighborhood when I was 4 and we became friends then.
He is a couple years older than me and had a younger brother who was just a little younger than me.
We all grew up together spending very very many hours gaming and running around.
Once we got old enough to find drugs and alcohol we ended up doing quite a lot of that and things gradually got darker and darker.
It's been about 5 years since I've seen or talked to him (maybe 6 years).
Well, he just sent me a friend request on FB and I accepted it because to be honest he never fucked me over, it was me who fucked over him.
Back in addiction I stole from him and didn't care because he was in jail and I needed a fix.
Never thought I would hear from either him or his brother again.
I'm pretty sure his brother is locked up for life in some mental health ward for believing in God too much and I'm not really sure how well off Donald's mental health is either anymore.
Their dad fought gooks in Nam and agent orange probably didn't help his kids out a whole lot.
Anyways, I didn't know what to do after hitting "accept" on his friend request so I broke the ice by messaging him "sup".
When I moved out of my apartment I figured I had little chance of ever just running into him on the street because at the time I thought he was living on that side of town too but after a quick look at his profile it says he lives on the side of town that I moved to.
Not really sure replying to him at all was a good idea but like I said, I fucked him over and not the other way around.
Really like my life as it is now and will gladly "x" people out of it to keep things progressing the way they are.
Hopefully whatever bad blood might be out there can be cleaned up if needed.
I'll admit it is good to find out he is alive although not sure how well he is doing.
Curiosity had me tonight I suppose.
Don't know what will come of this but if anything I do hope he is doing alright.

Been on the phone with him for an hour.
He is illegally living in a closet somewhere.
Got a job yesterday holding a sign on a corner that pays under the table.

Lol I have MANY friends like this.
Brain surgeon from totse I grew up with and was my best friend from like age 7 to 20's.
When I went to jail I kinda made the decision that when I get out im deleting all my social media and not gonna talk to a lot of my old friends.
I'm soooo glad I did that.
I don't have any bad feelings for these people but I just didn't want to be a part of the junky life anymore fr.
Once i started focusing on myself and basically stopped using hard drugs, life got 1000% easier. And money just accumulates a lot faster!
Now I have cars/houses/computers/money.
Most of my good friends are still struggling with heroin and I just don't want to be a part of that anymore. It's been working out pretty good. It's a struggle sometimes tho
