Apparently they stole their DoD funds. They had the technology for software shit to run them more efficient to compensate for the brain damage drunks that Russians are and have a fraction of the new generation military hardware. They have all the designs and a few stockpile of their new generation but money was stolen or repurposed and they never had the numbers of tanks and newer migs they claimed to have. Just shells on the back of flatbeds being shown off

This is what a decent 21st Century tank would look like. Sensors and guns are high up. Piloting is done by some MORALLY SUPERIOR BEINGs in a big city thousands of miles away sipping diet coke and eating doritos. Half the workers in the tank platoon are computer scientists, not dumb conscripts. -

unmanned battle bots are susceptible to EW and EMP attacks. the age of mechanized infantries is over.
